Amnesty International Is Speaking for Terrorists. Amnesty International’s latest claims put its credibility and bias under question. The organization keeps repeating casualty figures pushed by the Taliban and sourced from UNAMA. At the same time it ignores the thousands of Pakistani civilians and security personnel killed in cross border attacks planned and carried out from Afghan territory by TTP, Al Qaeda and ISKP. This new report is built mainly on UNAMA data. UNAMA itself depends on access and information controlled by the Taliban, with sources that cannot be independently checked in a closed environment. By skipping this context and focusing only on casualty numbers, Amnesty ends up echoing Taliban propaganda. It ignores the Taliban’s use of civilians as human shields and it weakens Pakistan’s right to defend itself against ongoing cross border terrorism through targeted intelligence operations against confirmed terrorist infrastructure.

🌍 IEA warns fuel markets are tighter than crude as Bab al-Mandeb threat compounds Hormuz 🔹The International Energy Agency Director Fatih Birol said Tuesday that emergency stock releases and alternative export routes are still cushioning oil markets, but warned there is “no room for complacency” as threats to the Bab al-Mandeb strait compound the disruption at Hormuz. 🔹 Of the 400 million barrels the IEA pledged to release in a March 11 collective action, roughly 290 million have already hit the market. Last night, America apparently hit energy targets in Iran and a major bridge. It appears that Iran has made good on its promise to hit infrastructure targets of our allies in the region. Every time President Trump launches one of these targets that have no impacts on the war or helps us win it, he deepens the threat of retaliation and the harm on us and our allies. It’s hard to overstate how reckless and irrational the president’s actions are. They harm our interest while not providing even the possibility of benefit. It’s starting to look like he is intentionally trying to thrust the region into an all out and highly destructive war. Or he truly he is like Emperor Nero, and has gone mad.
