Connie bemoaned the fact that the sentencing judge spelled out the mitigating factors - as every judge worth his salt does.
@elniedunne @_ConnieShaw It wasn't used to 'excuse or minimise harm caused'. Other sections of the sentencing remarks will spells out the harm caused, yet others will consider aggravating factors. In the sections Connite quoted, the judge acknowledges mitigating factors - as is also his role.
