@Chronister57609 @Swiftly_sliding @Halo Disc can hold 100% of games! Current discs can hold 100gb and there’s nothing stopping them from optimizing their games better or using multiple discs. The remaster is 25gb and includes content not in this version, if you x4 it to 100gb or less it would still fit on the disc

@Pookac81 @Jimbobjeffe @JayBari_ The next consoles are going to be cloud-service boxes. Storage price increases are so high that by removing disc drives, they’ll also remove storage drives, they can say “well you’d need an internet connection to download games anyways so just stream the game.”

@Pookac81 @Jimbobjeffe @JayBari_ Disc drives have no impact on console price increases over the years. They cost manufacturers $20-30 which is extremely small. The disc-less PS5 is only $50-100 cheaper because they force those consumers to only buy from their storefront.

@shinobi602 I don’t think they are the number 2 publisher in the world. Activision and Blizzard are not big publishers anymore compared to what they were in the 2010s. (Do they even publish thirdy party games still?). Xbox publishing to other consoles has been so staggered.

@Chamonbagg @shinobi602 If this was for a new console I’d agree. But this is for the current console that has poor sales and thats before its price nearly doubled. The majority of the xbox player base is on PC now. They should be looking for a way to secure those people or make the console affordable
