This is exactly why I built @AmoreComputer. Just let Amore handle the whole release process outside the App Store. OTA-updates, licensing and agent skill included.
So… this won't work To distribute an macOS app outside the App Store you need to sign with "notarization" Which requires special permission it seems I've been building my own internal tools and finally got them production ready with Fable. Thought it would be cool to release
After a weekend fighting against Xcode and GitHub runner, it finally works and feels magic. If you ship your app outside the Mac App Store, this is going to make your life so much easier. You can now release new updates via git push or right from GitHub.

Apple rejected the application due to using Accessibility features and rejected entitlement usage so I had to use @AmoreComputer. It really was as easy as @lucaslovexoxo says it is.
