Personally think this system of the wingers positioning could benefit all of our wingers. Doku we’ve seen. But Bobb definitely and I think Savinho could work centrally too.

Most entertaining set-up in the entire league. Doku running chaos in the left hand half spaces, Cherki running chaos in the right hand half spaces, Foden playing with freedom, linking play around the box, picking up the ball in between the lines. Most entertaining City squad

I do think that next evolution is to be able to play that #8 role consistently. The off-ball has to be exemplary. It’s probably not possible but I’d love to see dual #8/#10’s of Foden and Cherki. But feasibly one probably has to drift from the wing.

@CounterPressers Truffert has helped him. Played in a more deep role than Kerkez and Semenyo has dropped more deeper and centrally in build-up. Similar reasons as to why doku got better.

@falsewinger_ Agreed bring us a natural, orthodox right-back, maybe another defender that can cover the long-distances. And potentially an elite-RW (depending on development of Bobb/Savio). Could very well keep both and Bobb replace Bernardo as an interior and someone like Wharton for Kova.

@mancobi @GeronimoMorgans But in the seasons of the past the players have known when to slow the game down and just keep possession and tick the clock down. The likes of Bernardo, Gundo, Rodri were the key to that.
