👇👇‼️‼️👇👇 Mauthausen. Ein Schüler steht auf dem Boden eines Vernichtungslagers. Auf seinem Rücken: die palästinensische Flagge, gehalten von einer Figur, in der viele Dalal Mughrabi erkennen – die Terroristin des Küstenstraßen-Massakers in Israel von 1978, 38 Tote, darunter 13 Kinder. Auf der Brust: „Free Palestine”. Als eine junge Jüdin widerspricht, erklären Schüler, Israel begehe einen Völkermord. Am Ort, an dem der Völkermord Geschichte wurde. Zwei Dinge geschehen hier zugleich, und beide muss man beim Namen nennen. Das erste ist ein Diebstahl. Der Holocaust wird enteignet. Man nimmt das Wort, das die Ermordung der europäischen Juden bezeichnet, und heftet es an ihre Nachfahren. Der Begriff, der Schutz sein sollte, wird zur Waffe – gegen die, die er meinte. Die Opfer werden zu Tätern erklärt, und ihr Grab wird zur Bühne dieser Umkehrung. Das ist keine Kritik an Israel. Das ist die Aneignung des größten Verbrechens, um es gegen seine Opfer zu wenden. Das zweite ist tiefer und gefährlicher. Es ist ein Angriff auf die Singularität. Wenn jeder Krieg ein Holocaust ist, war der Holocaust keiner mehr. Wenn Mauthausen austauschbar wird, verliert es seinen Ort in der Geschichte. Die Erinnerungskultur lebt von einem einzigen Satz: Dies war beispiellos. Wer diesen Satz einebnet, zerstört nicht ein Detail – er zerstört das Fundament. Die Gleichsetzung ist kein Vergleich. Sie ist eine Löschung. Und das Bittere ist der Lernort selbst. Diese Schüler waren nicht trotz Bildung dort. Sie kamen wegen ihr. Sie standen im Angesicht des Beweises – und sahen nichts. Erinnerung schützt nicht automatisch. Sie kann selbst zum Werkzeug ihrer Auslöschung werden. Genau das haben wir in Mauthausen gesehen.
