@ArtfulTakedown @Lanigan2020 @TheLegacyDan property tax bills typically have separate line items for what the $s are going to (police, fire, schools, roads, etc) for any assessments charged above the base tax amount. Typically these charges are voted on by a community and self assessed.

@ArtfulTakedown If your house are connected to the grid and have the ability to take power off the grid (say when it’s cloudy), you should have to pay to help maintain said grid. The IOUs spend billions maintaining the transmission and distribution system in CA so that that option is available.

@AmericanAir Just had an incredibly frustrating experience where I got “upgraded” on a transcon, got seated and settled and then had a gate agent come and say the guy showed up and I now had to move back to my previous seat AFTER I was ticketed the new seat.

@BenS_MTG this isn’t how politics works. you have to be able to build consensus m to get things actually done. im speaking as someone who has spent their career working with governments and elected officials to build infrastructure. i’m also a lifelong Democrat. Bernie is just difficult.

@ArenaDecklists This mono blue list has been crushing for me and feels good against control and simic. Ive cast Gadwick for 30+ multiple times. The sideboard needs work for a more settled meta and is geared for the constant control on the latter.

Got there with @TheStormGuy22's list posted on @ArenaDecklists. Felt easy with the only loss coming to b2b questing heartbeasts on T3/4. I would probably tweak the SB to include prison realm, mass manipulation and tamiyo over sky tether, jace and glass casket.
