I think the recent and upcoming updates on Bittensor | $TAO all play a significant role in making the network more permissionless and accountable. • Conviction gives subnets a way to show long-term commitment to the network, while giving more power and structure to alpha-token holders. • Root Reborn turns Root from a passive staking layer into an active allocation engine, where validators can compete to manage and reinvest yield across subnets. •Ceasing emissions to subnets with no miner distribution helps filter out dead subnets and teams extracting value without contributing real work. • More fine-tuning is also coming to the TaoFlow mechanism in the coming weeks to make emissions more balanced. Bittensor is becoming less about teams simply launching subnets and more about proving that those subnets are real products with committed teams, active miners, and actual value creation. The delay has been simply to give us more time to improve scoring before rewards went live. At some point, every subnet has to move from testing to production, learn from real-world conditions, and iterate quickly. We're excited to begin miner participation and start the journey toward SOTA DeFi intent solving. This is a major milestone for the subnet and the first real step toward an ever-improving intent engine that grows through miner contributions, expands across chains, and powers the next generation of DeFi experiences for users, apps, and agents alike. So we asked Eversight to forecast the Polymarket question: Will the U.S. enact an AI safety bill before 2027? The public market is pricing YES around 23%, but Numinous comes in much lower, around 7%. The reason is simple. The Anthropic news makes AI regulation feel more likely, but this question is not asking whether the U.S. will take any AI action. It only resolves YES if a federal AI safety bill is enacted into law before 2027. That means export controls, agency action, executive orders, hearings, and general AI policy noise are not enough to resolve the market.
