Nobody is buying SwiftUI, the iOS-specific layer (writing the screens, wiring the APIs) is exactly what AI is getting good at. What it’s still bad at and will stay bad at for a while is ambiguous problems, system-level architecture, knowing what’s actually worth building, and owning the outcome when something breaks. Move up that stack, need to stay fluent in the AI tooling instead of competing with it, and you go from “an iOS dev” to “someone who delivers working products”.
