Yesterday, I finally saw some grass peeking out of the solid mass of snow that has been my front lawn for the last 4 months. Woke up to this. Spring has been such a tease this year!

Please take care of yourself. Take your physical and mental health seriously. Plan for the future with your loved ones, so they can prepare themselves. If at all possible, don't leave them lost and heartbroken and confused.

I feel like it's squeezing me, crushing down on my head, my shoulders, compressing my spine. We appear in the blink of an eye then *poof* we're gone. The world moves on, and our absence is irrelevant. Time is so short.

There's a little notification on my phone that chimes at midnight. It was intended to remind me that going to bed is a thing people do. Instead it just tricks me into thinking there's someone that wants to talk to me. Every single night. You'd think I would catch on by now.

I know we need sleep to survive. But what if your brain just doesn't want to? (Asking for a friend who may be sitting in a parking lot at 4am, nodding off & being jolted awake by employees taking carts back in the store, and still refusing to go home to bed)
