wait this kinda sucks? He is essentially arguing that automakers should be more focused on jobs than stock performance. Which is an incredible way to either 1) go bankrupt 2) essentially rely on the government to continue to operate. I would also imagine auto manufacturing is getting quite automated. A state that instead gives tax benefits to automated car manufacturing will probably eat their lunch. If only there was some example we could look at, where a state got in the way of automakers ability to compete, and instead saw them as jobs programs. They even put people from the union on the board. reuters.com/business/autos… reuters.com/business/autos… Not only is Volkswagen continuing to layoff tens of thousands, they also shut down their self driving project. You dont not need to subsidize startups, the market is really good at figuring who to allocate money too. Does anyone remember Solyndra?? 500 million from the government, poof gone. Whats clear from his time leading health departments, is hes incredibly good at increasing budgets.

I've been enjoying the Codex Micro way more than expected. It is a really natural way to drive Codex I would love the ability to assign double clicks For example, with the codex send message button I would like to steer the conversation by clicking that button twice I also would like it to be more clear how I could assign a custom bash command to a button. cc: @Dimillian @work_louder @thsottiaux

I agree there is complexity, I actually had a house across the street under contract, so I’m familiar with the area and apartment complex. What I was trying to imply, is that new developments, even low cost, are often blocked by housing activist types and not just old grumpy NIMBYs. “Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of good” Pretty clear you share this same frustration! I have no doubt there are detractors of the entire project who are hiding behind this excuse, but it’s crazy to keep Trestletree in its current state

My thoughts after owning a Premium AWD Model Y for two weeks: - you couldn’t pay me to drive another car - I will never step foot in a dealership again, easiest purchasing experiencing - you cannot beat 1% financing / Tesla gave us a higher trade in offer than Carvana - FSD is incredible in so many different situations. I can see people stressed to hell in traffic and I am almost in a meditative state. You arrive feeling great. - air suspension x FSD creates a very comfortable ride - acceleration is instant and impressive. I told my friend it’s a safety feature more than anything - I don’t think I’ve considered how much battery I have left once, and we only charge to 80% - my wife absolutely love this car, and she’s actually wants to go to the store in afternoon now. I also know FSD can help keep her safe
