In seventh grade, we watched @StarTrek: The Next Generation The Measure of a Man. The teacher had us in groups of people who thought Data was human, and those who thought he wasn't. I was the only one who thought he was human. I still do, and am quite proud of it. @BrentSpiner

Happy birthday, Isaac Asimov! In the early 1990s he wrote a fantastic book on astronomy for teens, which I DEVOURED. I got basic knowledge of everything from black holes to galaxies to extinction-level events to planetary formation and even realistic possibilities of alien life!
