Every time she came on the radio for as long as I can remember my dad would say “man, what a voice Dolly has” my mom would smack his arm “you don’t like her for her voice” dad would wink at me or my brother and say “maybe not, but it’s still pretty good”. Stupid, but my entire childhood must’ve happened 100 times. I was never a big fan but anytime I hear her voice that’s the first thing I think of.

That’s really cool. My daughter just graduated from college last spring recently got her first “real” job. One of the coolest things is talking to her friends at this stage of their lives. Not sure I’ve had quite that impact but as someone that had pretty successful career and opened a couple businesses gives me hope for the next generation, when they have questions and actually listen to the answers. We all had idiots in our own generations that suck up the headlines while the rest of us were out there building lives.
