The .001% is doing a lot of work there. That’s not a measurement, it’s an assumption. Just like “pressing a shutter” doesn’t describe photography, “typing a prompt” doesn’t describe every generative workflow. The question is what creative decisions the person actually contributed.

You’ve just restated the claim. Why does “telling a machine what to do” categorically prevent creative contribution? Direction, selection, iteration and editing are still decisions made by the user. You can argue they aren’t enough for authorship, but you have to actually explain why.

I criticized the fake process video despite supporting AI. You responded by comparing AI support to supporting terrorists and predicting that companies will eventually turn on me. None of that addresses what I actually said. If your point is vendor lock in, just argue vendor lock in.

I agree those are definitely ways someone could misuse it both are 100% deceptive. I just don't think that makes the technology itself or that post specifically a scam since the OP is telling people the process video isn't real and labeling it AI. I think thats a fair way to go about things

@BegTheGhost Had someone say no one will take my photography seriously because I use and support AI. I don’t understand why they think being an artist is some kind of membership card. My years of experience doesn’t go away just because I use it.

@mythryxexe If you want the skill of drawing, there is no shortcut around learning drawing. If you only want to make images, you aren't morally obligated to become a draftsman first.
