Lots of children leaving tributes to the Queen at Buckingham Palace this Saturday morning. V moving to see all the hand-drawn cards & messages. Tea with Paddington did so much to introduce her to little ones. It’s a loss felt by every generation. @BBCNorthampton

@bettyredondo This is such sad news. Sandra was a lovely lady & a brilliant broadcaster - so knowledgeable and engaging. That picture of her with the Queen is terrific. Wonder what they’re smiling about? I’m closing my eyes & hearing that wonderful mellifluous voice. RIP.
