I wanted to introduce the real me. For years you’ve known me as SpyHatesMe, but the real me is Benjamin. At this point in my life I’ve been involved in trading for over 10 years. I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve had some amazing days and plenty of “worst days of my life”. Midway through my trading ventures I blew a $350k account to nearly zero. I was ashamed, beaten down, and truly felt worthless. This was one of the most difficult things I’ve ever been through, but it didn’t define me. I’ve since regained not only my financial value, but my confidence and self esteem. I think every great investor has a similar story. Today, I’m a much different trader. My focus is primarily swing trading options using longer dated contracts and investing in equities. I still love the markets, but I no longer feel the need to trade every move. I’ve never been a materialistic person or one to boast about my life, but I am very proud of where I am. This “rebrand” of myself is a stepping stone of growth. I’m much more of a man and an adult than I was entering the fintwit platform 8 years ago. So, hi, I’m Benjamin. I enjoy spending time with my family, reptile keeping, playing the piano, traveling and living a simple life. I am marrying the love of my life in October. I own a brick and mortar business, some real estate and invest in the stock market. I hope what I post from here out not only provides value, but helps me meet more like-minded people. $IREN Daily. Forming nicely, needs a reclaim of the 9EMA. Easy rejection if it cannot reclaim 9EMA, but big reward if volume follows the break. Open swing position with equity and JAN cons. Yesterday's low is risk management for me.

Don’t get lost in percentages and lose sight of the true value of the dollar. 30% win on a FULL sized swing is a HUGE win when speaking dollar amount. It may not be screenshot worthy to show off to fintwit, but the $ amount behind it can be massive.

As the market curls, and on every pullback that we get, I always look for reversal names. While the indices weren't too far from their highs on this pullback, many individual names pullback was a lot more dramatic. With indices pushing back towards highs, those names that have been beaten down are worth looking at for positioning. I'm still very hesitant on this rebound overall, seasonality seems to be playing a big part, but it's hard to ignore us being ~1.5% from highs when we were just ~6% off highs. There are many names at great values if this does hold. No rush needed, soo many individual names have a lot of room to go to catch back up.

Aside from some intraday moves, for me personally, there's not a lot I'm going to be doing until the market properly digest the $NVDA move and see where we want to go with that. Many will speculate on where we're going with this, many will be right but also many will be wrong. I'll wait for the market to tell me and go from there. I've already posted my analysis on where I think we're heading, but not betting the house on it.

$SPY Daily. Opening below the 50 this morning watching to see how market reacts to that level. There's a large chance I'm wrong, but the similarities are there. Would not be surprised to see price at the 200 before EoY. Though, $NVDA earnings are soon to either save the day or make the move faster..lol Just a surface analysis. Take it day by day. Time will tell.
