Blandford Forum Remembrance service “Lest we forget”
🌺The Acts of Remembrance in Blandford Forum start this weekend, with the opening of the Field of Remembrance. Everyone is welcome to attend the events listed. - Schools' Remembrance Service - Remembrance Sunday Outdoor Service with Wreath Laying and Town Parade - Armistice Day

As we get closer to the poppy appeal 2024 the team has been working hard getting everything ready the work that goes on behind the scenes is immense “lest we forget “
This evening members of the Branch committee, attended the Blandford Garrison youth club and presented them with a cheque for £1000 which is going towards helping to fund a trip for the youngsters. The purpose of the trip is to research and follow the path of a female SOE agent

Armed forces day service
On Saturday 29th June at 11:00am will be celebrating Armed Forces Day with a short flag raising ceremony During the ceremony we will also be commemorating the battle of Kohima in WW2 in which the Dorset Regiment took part. The ceremony is open to all who like to come along

During the Armed Forces Expo our friends from the Armed Forces Veterans Bikers Charity presented the branch with a large framed patch similar to those they wear on their leathers. We are very honoured to receive it from Dave Taylor & Mary Taylor we shall proudly displaying this
