We recently received 2 reports of separate coyote attacks on dogs in different areas of our city. Thankfully, both dogs survived and are recovering. Coyotes can be found throughout the city. Keep dogs on a leash, keep cats indoors, don't allow pets to roam unattended.

Bloomington Police responded today at around 4:30pm to the 8300 block of 12th Ave. on a man discharging a firearm in his backyard. The suspect was safely taken into custody when officers arrived. There is no danger to the public and all roadways are open.

Early this morning, a Ramsey County arrest warrant was being served on the 8500 blk of Blaisdell Ave S., when the suspect fled. A shelter-in-place order was issued and lifted - the suspect was taken into custody. There is no safety concern to the community. Have a great Thursday!
