'Citizen Vigilante' is the exact cultural pipe bomb we deserved in 2026. Is it an artistic masterpiece? Hell no. It’s directed by Uwe Boll, meaning it has all the cinematic finesse of a raccoon trapped in a dumpster. But who cares about the choppy editing when the movie is swinging a rusted machete at the exact systemic rot everyone else is too terrified to mention? This movie is the glorious, middle-finger comeback Armie Hammer actually earned. He is twenty out of ten locked in, channeling a raw, primal rage as an American expat in Europe executing the migrant criminals and spineless, soft-on-crime officials that the real world just lets walk free with suspended sentences. He’s essentially modern-day Charles Bronson, and now that we're here, the lone vigilante concept is more urgent right now than it has ever been. The entire European social contract is currently imploding because of a catastrophic double-whammy: open borders and a cowardly, two-tier justice system that prioritizes the wellbeing of rotten criminals. Of course the always effeminate mainstream media is having an absolute meltdown, and Germany literally banned the film because their bureaucratic elites are absolute pussies who would rather censor a movie than look at their own knife-crime stats. Boll’s execution is blunt, trashy, and completely un-sanitized, but it forces the exact conversation the global elite doesn't want us to have. It holds a mirror to a civilization actively choosing self-destruction via misguided empathy. It’s a ballsy, chaotic grenade of a B-movie, and it's refreshing to say the least that someone finally had the guts to pull that pin.

I don’t have a problem with people wanting to filter their nodes or express a view as a relay. I fully reject the framing and the insolent arrogance of BIP110 that they know better than the market about what makes a proper Bitcoin transaction. It is clear to me that nearly nobody in this camp, despite writing several Bitcoin and Austrian economics textbooks between them, either has no understanding of how markets emerge or can’t see beyond their childish standards and ideals that don’t have any relevance in what Bitcoin is. This has been a slow attack for years - slowly boiling the plebs like frogs starting with a genuinely important conversation about hash rate decentralization but ultimately creeping towards intimidating accusations of supporting child porn and a total willingness to fork Bitcoin, break user space, and remove the permissionless nature of it. Hard pass. Flicking away the BIP110 plebs still leaves open the question of what is wrong in Bitcoin’s overall governance but it will remove the insolent children who are incapable of discussing the problem as adults. The sky is not falling and Core v30 didn’t kill Bitcoin. Only an adult is capable of seeing this and Bitcoin happened to be adopted by angry children - it’s a feature. You will have to mature beyond the version of yourself who adopted Bitcoin to ensure it fulfills its purpose. You will have to do this many times on the journey. This is the upgrade on humanity Bitcoin is demanding.
