@bloodgust_ Think of it this way. ABO is a genetic condition of a minority group in the Knot world. Alphas & Omegas are only 30% of that minority group. People outside of family & close friends aren't going to discuss this. And you would have to luck into having an ABO as a friend.

@bloodgust_ The way I look at it, Ongsa already explained that they are a minority group descended from the Wolf Spirit clan - so it would have been up to his parents to explain it to him, but explanation is most important to Alphas/Omegas & they may have assumed he was neither.

@bloodgust_ He presented late & they probably assumed he was a beta. Being a minority - info was available if he researched, but most people don't research groups they aren't aware they are in. And considering Alphas & Omegas are a small minority of the minority group - no convos.

@bloomingWishh @wixximv @whattouseasname You do understand that both characters had bond sickness from being apart & Phatsa was also likely struggling with his first heat? That scene was supposed to make you think about how difficult it is for them to navigate their situation.

@bloomingWishh @wixximv If you'd been reading omegaverse books & fanfiction - then Knot is spot on and what most omegaverse fans have been wanting to see. This isn't a romanticized version - this is the nitty gritty. Omegaverse is basically non shifter werewolves - I expect to see animalistic behavior

@damieD1st @shawntifying Bare minimum human beings who base their behavior on what is harmful or not, eh they are likely decent. Bare minimum human being who base their behavior on the law & consequences? They are dangerous- undergo a regime change & they won't even be the same person.

@damieD1st @shawntifying This is why the world is the way it is. Rules and laws are often just the means of safeguarding power and not always based on right or wrong. I stand by what I stated, being good requires actively doing good. Not doing bad is the bare minimum of being a human being.

@marvy_101 I worked 80 hrs weeks in my 20s. It wasn't worth it- on any level. I do not recommend it. People want twentysomethings to be passionate about jobs that will work them to death because if they engage in a cold, logical review of how the job will benefit them - it won't.

I get that people who want large families tend to think big concepts are all you need to raise a happy, healthy brood (love, God & etc) . Reality tells us financial security, familial support & opportunities matter more than you are thinking. "Planning" to just get by is crazy.

People who say this don't appreciate what it takes to properly raise 1 child. It isn't just that the men don't experience the difficulties of pregnancy/postpartum. They literally aren't thinking about their potential children's needs at all.

All the discourse around what a woman should do to get a man is comical. If you have to pretend to be someone else- the resulting relationship is BS not worth having. What will those women do when they realize they've lost themselves & they don't like themselves or the guy?

@IsOutsideagain @vandeh_praise Why would you risk your freedom though? I know way more women who mean no when they say it. I would tell every young man I know, if she says no - leave her be. If she says, don't go - you should pursue me more - he should politely RUN AWAY. Don't mess w/ anyone who plays games.
