My unpopular KH opinion as a person who mistakenly played KH1 > KH2 > CoM > 358/2 days originally as I didn't know any other games but 1 & 2 existed... I very much disagree with the play 358/2 days after KH2 crowd even though that's what I kinda did. People argue it's more mysterious that way. It's the release order. I argue that it is much more emotional to play 358/2 days before KH2. I wish I had originally played it in that order. I mean admittedly I also screwed up by playing CoM after KH2 but I didn't know that game existed back then It's basically a preference of if you like being confused and it being all a mystery opposed it tugging on your heart strings because you know what led to this. Because you recognise things and have the context. I'm not saying it's not emotional if you played the suggested order but I truly think it's much more emotional going into KH2 when you know what happened in 358/2 days ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯
