@drivelinekyle @drivelinekyle what’s would the dimensions of the square style cages look like? What’s the minimum pitch distance to generate an ideal training environment? It’s nice to simulate pole to pole with these cages, but you’ll want cages big enough to get front toss or even hack attack

@Jram2TBJ Merrill has the slight xwOBA + appearances edge but it’s very close. Merrill has 29.97 expected runs created over the average whereas Skenes has 29.4 runs prevented under the average. Skenes had a huge lead in this awhile back but Merrill has just been so good.

@sondraa Maybe the Yankees should suggest he stop hitting right handed? Hasn’t been able to hit lefties since A ball. Verdugo against lefties is better than Dominguez against lefties and the Yankees are EASILY the best in baseball against righties. Dominguez immediately solves nothing.

@MLBNetwork WAR is such a stilted stat. It overemphasizes defense. Either way, Ohtani has produced enough offense over Lindor to make up for the fact he doesn’t play defense. Lindor has definitely been number 2 this year but Ohtani is just too good.
