Just as Alaska didn't care about working to receive their oil dividend, working to receive your tech dividend shouldn't be a concern either. Dividends are about ownership, not work. Your taxes paid for the technology. It's time to demand your ROI as a stockholder called citizen.

The South African labor force participation rate was on average 57.16 between 2001 and 2018. A #basicincome would stimulate especially townships economies by making those that do not participate economic active. The private sector can help.

The headline unemployment rate doesn't tell the real story. Our labor force participation rate today is down to 63%, the same levels as El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, largely because 5 million manufacturing workers, were pushed out of the workforce in the early 2000s.
