Kyrie Irving is listed as probable for Brooklyn’s game against Atlanta tomorrow. Give him all the backlash you want, but he was averaging: 28.5 PPG 7.2 APG 44% FG Yes, they were 4-7 but that wasn’t Irving’s fault. The Nets defense has improved immensely since.
Pelicans are 7-3 in their last 10 Lonzo Ball in his L10: 16 PPG 6 APG on nearly 40% 3PT Brandon Ingram: 26 PPG 5 APG on 40% 3PT Jaxson Hayes is 19. Nickel Alexander Walker could be a key role player. Josh Hart is a quality piece. This team is going places.
The Nets get them W without their 2 best players and key role players against the Miami Heat, snapping a 4 game skid. Add Kevin Durant (healthy) and Kyrie Irving to this core and they become one of the best offenses in the league.
Man I love Jimmy Butler. We need more guys like that in the league.

Victor Oladipo will be making his return on January 29th. They are just 3.5 games back from the 2 seed, as they currently lay at the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference. Might take time for Dipo to come back, but I could see the pacers move up. Criminally underrated team.
The Nets are on a 7 game losing streak. Kyrie might be some for the year. Lucky for them, KD and Kyrie will both be fully healthy next year. The fact they’ve been doing this well w/o them and Caris is a good sign that this core could accomplish great things.
Blake Griffin will miss an indefinite amount of time with a left knee injury. Hate to see him continue to struggle with injuries.

The San Antonio Spurs defeated the Milwaukee Bucks by 22 points! Slight hiccup for the Bucks, a overall rough shooting night from all. As a team they shot 33% from deep. The Spurs are the 8 seed and after a slow start have recovered pretty well.
Donovan Mitchell in his last 5 games: 27.4 PPG 6.4 APG 55 FG% The Jazz are 5-0. If Quin Synder can fit Mike Conley into their system, don’t sleep on the Jazz.
The Jazz started 12-9 with Mike Conley, who are averaging 14&5 on 36% shooting. Ever since, they are 12-3, with Donavan Mitchell dominating at PG.
Nice to see the 76ers getting the W over the red hot Thunder. It was balanced attack from Philly, all starters were in double digits, got help from their bench and shot 50% from 3 as a team. Lets see if they can build on this!
