It's been an exciting and informative week at the Keto Live conference in Switzerland! The Baszucki Group team has been on the ground connecting with global pioneers to advance the science of metabolic health. The event kicked off with an opening keynote from our very own @KirkNylen, PhD, who shared a comprehensive overview of "the distance traveled and the road ahead" from the Baszucki Group perspective, highlighting our global efforts to transform mental health treatments through metabolic interventions. Programming also featured presentations by @ZSarnyai, @doncaloger0, @GuidoFrank, and other leading experts who dove deep into the powerful science and mechanisms behind ketogenic therapy. We are proud to collaborate with this brilliant community as we pave the road ahead for metabolic psychiatry.

A study in Communications Medicine explores whether a special, fat-based diet could be a safe and effective treatment for adults with anorexia nervosa. Participants showed significant improvements in eating disorder symptoms. go.nature.com/4e9qNVP

A pilot study published today in @CommsMedicine demonstrates the potential for a new approach to treating anorexia nervosa. The research from @UCSDMedSchool, led by @GuidoFrank, reports that a ketogenic nutritional intervention was feasible and safe for patients with weight-normalized anorexia nervosa. Baszucki Group Funds Oxford University Clinical Trial of Ketogenic Therapy for Early Psychosis Today, we announced a £1.17 million grant to support a randomized controlled trial at the @UniofOxford assessing the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of a ketogenic diet for patients at clinical high risk of psychosis (CHR-P). “This study is an important step forward in understanding the potential of ketogenic therapy on physical and mental health in this highly vulnerable patient group,” said @janellison, co-founder and president of Baszucki Group. “This ambitious project represents a rare opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how ketogenic therapy could fundamentally transform the trajectory of serious mental illness in a largely medication-naive population.
