@rayjaysworld99 They literally had ID talent on their MyAEW stream this Monday. The talent is just being pulled due to tapings being scheduled at the very last second and suddenly the wrestler is double-booked, gets pulled. It has nothing at all to do with WWE-AEW stuff.
What? I’m wrestling once a weekend this month for the first time all year? Cool. @T4TWrestle tomorrow.
@MarkDob_ @FreebandJ I don’t disagree with you in general, but GCW had Jack Perry on their biggest show of the year (along with the AEW National Championship belt) just 2 months ago. They have zero commitments.
The people in my mentions who think the PRODUCE/WWE ID situation has anything at all to do with Tony Khan are experiencing quite the Rorschach test.
@MarkDob_ @FreebandJ Then why would he be the one confirming that WWE expects them the day early? GCW doesn’t even promote their WWE names like WWE wants. You don’t have the correct information and a narrative you’ve formed is driving that line of thought.

@FreebandJ @MarkDob_ Yes, they’re expected to be in FL the day prior. That’s not even really the problem; If the show was on a regular schedule then the talent just wouldn’t book themselves and it’d be all good. WWE’s “Independent Development” just can be bothered to coordinate with these indies.
@AlexG112283 @WFHwrestling That’s true in the sense that the only reason they’re not wrestling is that WWE won’t let them, but everything else in your framing of it is a fabrication. MyAEW outright allows WWE ID talent on their service, and PRODUCE actively wants the wrestlers to fulfill the bookings.
ID has become a parody of everything that everyone had said it would be. Expecting your talent to develop on the indies while constantly requiring them to disrupt every promotion that gives them opportunities is asinine.
The one and only pain point is WWE ID scheduling their tapings late to the point that their talent is then double-booked. That’s very plainly the issue.
Marcus Mathers was on their MyAEW broadcast just 3 days ago. There is no such restriction on that streamer. It’s the ID talent themselves pulling out, not the streamer preventing the booking.
@AlexG112283 @WFHwrestling What mentality? To not keeping booking people who pull out of their commitments? The talent pulled out of PRODUCE’s show themself, they were booked to work it had they not pulled out of it.
