Recently our newborn was in the hospital with RSV (she's fine). One of the amazing nurses stuck her head in, lowered her mask. "Remember me?" She was a former student. Never forget. This profession/field is NOT about caring for the young. It's about guaranteeing our own futures.

@NumberShapes @MrDeltaMath Yes, exactly! In the closed array, that's precisely what it would look like. The question's at what point do we go from closed to open to something altogether more abstract (as those we encounter in algebra), ie 8(10x + 1).

@fawnpnguyen 84 ÷ 12 = 7, so 7 1/12. DECIMAL form, whoa. 1/12 is 1/2 of 1/6, and I know 1/6 = .166666..., so 1/12 should be .0833333... 7.0833333...
