The Levy Report found long waits, missing outcomes data and serious problems in adult gender clinics. The response? Expand clinics, speed people through the pathway faster, and put Dr Levy (who wrote the report) in charge of making it all more “productive.” Senior NHS figures and the then Health Secretary welcomed this. One of them, Professor James Palmer, has previously said the big rise in young people exploring their gender “has got to be a good thing.” Why on earth would any doctor think large numbers of distressed children and young people "questioning their gender" is a good thing?! Especially when so many have obvious comorbidities, like mental-health issues, autism or trauma? After the Cass Review, accelerating adult services without evidence feels purposefully reckless...and without due regard for the harm they are causing!

Candlelight for a Butcher: The Enemy Within Our Universities While Iranians danced in the streets of London, students at Cambridge lit candles for their killer. As members of the Iranian diaspora, people who had watched sisters hanged and brothers disappeared, celebrated Khamenei's death with tears of relief, British university students were posting tributes to their "beloved" supreme leader and organising candlelit vigils in his memory. The people who knew him best celebrated. The people who enjoy every freedom his ideology despises mourned him. This was not the fringe. This was Cambridge. UCL. Manchester. Edinburgh. Bristol. Sheffield. Cardiff. SOAS. More than a dozen universities, their Ahlul-Bayt Islamic societies calling Khamenei a martyr, a defender of Islam. One society, at Portsmouth, dropped the pretence of grief entirely: "The Shia in the West must remain aware and ready." That is not mourning. That is mobilisation. Consider what they were mourning. Khamenei presided over the massacre of 30,000 of his own citizens in his final weeks alone. He armed Hamas, funded Hezbollah, and backed over twenty lethal attack plots on British soil in a single year. He ran a regime that hangs women for being raped and executes men for being gay. This is the man for whom British students, on British campuses, held a candlelight vigil. Ask yourself one question: if a far-right student society held a vigil for a white nationalist dictator who had slaughtered tens of thousands of his own people, how long before the university suspended them? The answer is hours. Everyone knows it. The double standard is no longer deniable. It was built deliberately. The progressive left wrote the diversity policies, the safe space frameworks, the complaints procedures that make it impossible to challenge what is happening on our campuses without being accused of racism or Islamophobia. They handed the keys to the building to people who despise everything they claim to stand for. The Muslim Student Council responded by dismissing concerns as part of an "Islamophobic war on terror matrix." There it is: the grievance shield, deployed on cue. Question the glorification of a mass murderer and you are the problem. This is how accountability is made impossible. Britain has a problem it refuses to name. There are institutions on our soil, operating openly, some with charitable status and university recognition, that are ideologically loyal not to Britain but to a foreign theocratic revolutionary movement. The Islamic Centre of England in Maida Vale mourned Khamenei as "the Imam of the Ummah." It was, until recently, allegedly controlled by Khamenei's personal representative in Britain. The Charity Commission investigated for three years. Little changed. Khamenei was not a religious figurehead. He was the commander of a transnational revolutionary project with active sympathisers and institutions embedded throughout the West. His death does not end that project. The network that mourned him this week will continue to operate, recruit and organise. Britain's universities were once places where bad ideas went to be challenged. Now they are places where vigils are held for butchers and administrators look the other way for fear of a single word: Islamophobia. The Iranian diaspora are not looking the other way. They are dancing. We should be asking ourselves why our students are not standing with them. The long march through the institutions is complete. Look what it has delivered. The clue’s in the name - Because it’s hormone REPLACEMENT, and female hormones can’t be replaced with male ones, whether you’re 11 or 52!

Leon Panetta: Russians have been playing around with incursions, like in Poland, Romania, Germany, for a long time. These are real threats. Putin will use either cyber, drones, or military incursion to test Article 5 and whether NATO will respond. We have to take this seriously.

Western and Southern Europeans will only learn the folly of their ways when Russian and North Korean missiles are hitting their cities and destroying their energy grids, and their undersea communication lines are being cut. In the meantime their governments will keep their heads firmly in the sand.
