@_csilverman @BeerAndPie @Sonos I’ve spent a small fortune on Sonos and now learning that the obsolescence cycle might become as short as 5 years! My £400 amp (perfect condition) can now be traded in for the new amp at £600 with 30% off. Let me see..... oh yes that’s £400 again.

@mattdscott @BeerAndPie @Sonos This is nonsense and nothing more than Sonos’ greed for profit over service. They are trying to follow smart phone manufacturers obsolescence profit model. Many of us still have sound systems dating back to our childhoods all working and using processors.

@BeerAndPie @Sonos Just ran into some S1 vs S2 troubles! It pushes for an upgrade, but I'm perfectly happy w/ S1. It also automatically updates everything to S2 if you're not careful. Then you play a whole game of reversing to S1. 🙄😭 not a great experience. I agree, shouldn't be this frustrating!
