@PhantasticGeek 3/ Phinally, this episode was a love letter to TOS’ groundbreaking depiction of people of color prospering in the future. At least it was to me, but you don’t have to take my word for it.

@PhantasticGeek 2/ Seriously though, Trek Admirals are on par with Thrawn. I think we saw Pike decide he’s needed in the C Suite. Joe Morton is a treasure and he outpaced the hype of his cameo by phar.

@PhantasticGeek @PieterJKetelaar I just pheek like if you’re going to do a soap opera spoof, go crazy. Maybe do it Tele-nova style with over the top plots and in Spanish. I love the big swings. This was more of a sacrifice fly than a homerun.

@PhantasticGeek Really can’t overstate how well done this episode is. This is some of the best live action writing and character development in any phranchise.

@PhantasticGeek @PieterJKetelaar It was refreshing to watch this episode. This season wasn’t really hitting home after the last three. The writers continue to give time and consideration to so many great characters. They definitely stretched the science, but good syfy should push up against phantasy.

@PhantasticGeek Decent start. Definitely a gritty tone. Feels like it’s gonna be more True Crime than cool space cop smash up.

@PhantasticGeek Jean Grey was amazing. I can’t believe that wasn’t universally spoiled. I’m as excited for the MCU as I’ve ever been.

@PhantasticGeek It was the best Spiderman to date. Also top 5 Marvel. No spoilers since I saw an early screening. Just incredible. More later.

@PhantasticGeek @PieterJKetelaar It was legitimately creepy. Great acting! These are 3 characters that know how to confront phear head on. The consistent genre bending is “phasinating”.

@noelcamille @Drpolo1983 @GeekKirk @_MegMuckleBones @PieterJKetelaar @TongiaIAm My pipe dream is that the women in the MCU are plotting to take over. Hawkeye, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Ant Man, Loki all have smarter female versions. If Suri become Black Panther and her mom the new queen (regent?), maybe along with the Marvels and Wanda they sieze control.
