Fun fact: national parks aren’t cash cows. They lose tonnes of money (but that’s okay! They aren’t businesses). Banff probably loses less, but overall non-govt revenue is barely more than ten cents on the dollar of expenses.

@StirlingMayor @jenhandley Oooh! I agree. A sovereignty act for municipalities is much more important than a provincial police force. We don’t need a militia but option to have access to taxes other than property taxes would be awesome.
