Now that we’ve vented our frustrations at PlayStation, let’s consider our options for preservation and ownership: 1. There's almost 50 years of physical gaming history to explore, from the Atari 2600 to the PS5 and Xbox 360. The entire used market is a wonderful place to explore, and we get to support our local game stores while we’re at it. Consider buying from @BBgamestore, I’ve had wonderful experiences with them! 2. The Switch 2 has some physical media support, especially with its exclusives. By buying physical Switch 2 games, and especially preordering them, we can hopefully keep ownership alive for longer on Nintendo. On Switch 2, if the choice is between key card and digital, the key cards are better to buy, because Nintendo registers that as being interest in physical media. 3. If digital is going to be a necessity for certain games, then we might as well buy on PC. GOG is the primary solution for digital rights on PC. Steam meanwhile has historically had fewer problems with purchased games becoming unavailable when compared to digital console games. In terms of preserving your digital library, PC is the lesser of two ills. Playing PC from the couch is possible, I've been doing it for years. If you want to hear or share ideas on how to game on PC from the couch, I’m happy to talk about it! 4. Newly manufactured physical media and devices like the Evercade, Neo Geo, or Retron (with reproduction cartridges) are partial solutions for physical ownership. 5. Emulation isn't physical media, but it is a form of ownership. I’m not suggesting people steal, but rather, use ROMs as a backup to your library. I have “acquired” copies of movies which I’ve purchased 3 or 4 times just to have an extra backup. We don’t have to hurt studios in the process of preparing backups to things we've already bought. It’s the old principle “Lots of Copies Keeps Stuff Safe” (LOCKSS). 6. Make sure to buy 4K movies and 4K players. We have a much better chance at preserving physical media for movies than games, but we need your help. What are you going to be doing to preserve or own your games?

@Otherphazon13 It’s a great Gameboy title that reminds me a bit of Zelda II. I liked it a lot as a portable game, especially the fights were fun. A bit of a hidden gem I think.
