@conservativeoh1 All the water comes from rain or the well. Our trees get water from the well mostly. I give them a deep watering every few days. There's a dirt ring around the base, maybe 4 feet wide. That gets filled up with four or five inches of water. I've never seen the rain do what I do.

@conservativeoh1 We did it a couple years ago with the peach pits from my friends trees. Stuck them in the freezer. I think if I'm taking the time I want trees that will grow good fruit. It takes a couple hours to break through the calichi and fill it back in with soil. Then I have to water it.

@Brushbeater Hitting a wild animal on the run at 150 yds is impressive. I have missed deer on the run at much closer distances.

I've been trying to hit jack rabbits on the move. It changes the game completely. Most of the time I have a .22 rifle instead of the shotgun. We have to be careful about what we shoot at out here with all the chickens and livestock. That John Ross book was pretty cool when he's talking about skeet with a BAR. I always wanted to try that.

@notgrubles Thats an interesting point. Does having 2 separate vendors protect against an issue with the product? If that's the case they should have encouraged people to use other companies wallets with theirs in a multisig setup.

The meat alone wasn't great, but in a pot with some water to pull all the juice out of the bones and it was delicious. I have one jar of stock and made soup for dinner. These were two roosters around 5 lbs each. Should be able to get a couple gallons of stock today.

I see no problem with this. My kids can live here and I'll be happy, but we'll hopefully have other houses for them to grow their family in. We already have two parcels making up our 40 acres, and hopefully we can buy neighboring land.

@RecyclingMS Something electric could be useful, maybe one of those e-bikes and Brushbeater sells a decent dual tube nod setup. All of that is out of my budget right now, but I can dream. For now I have one of his less expensive thermal scopes. It can go on a rifle but I also use it alone.

@RecyclingMS Last two nights it's been coyotes chasing the rabbits. I need a quieter truck, the straight piped Ford makes seeking up on them impossible. I could go on foot, but have to cover about 1,300 feet in a short amount of time.
