$BTC dropped below $80K after the hotter-than-expected PPI print, but has since recovered the entire move and is now up around 3.5%. Both sides got trapped.

Before you enter, ask one question: where is my stop loss? Let’s take an example: - Your stop loss sits 1% away from your entry - Put in $5,000, and a 1% move against you costs $50. Too much. - Put in $1,000, and it costs $10. Safe, but you are leaving room on the table. - Put in $2,000, and it costs exactly $20. That is your trade size ✅ The formula: Trade size = Max loss ÷ Stop loss % $20 ÷ 1% = $2,000 Pick your max loss. Check your stop. Do the math. 🚨 US PPI COMES IN MUCH HOTTER THAN EXPECTED Headline PPI •⁠ ⁠MoM: +1.3% vs +0.6% expected •⁠ ⁠YoY: +6.3% vs +5.3% expected Core PPI •⁠ ⁠YoY: +5.0% vs +4.4% expected Producer inflation came in significantly above expectations, adding to concerns that inflationary pressures remain sticky. Following yesterday’s hotter-than-expected CPI, this could strengthen expectations for a more hawkish Fed and put further pressure on risk assets.
