@mkalinich13 @ChristopherW923 Best of luck to Big Mike. Really enjoyed watching him play. He provided a much needed spark this season. It's tough being behind Walker Barron coming into a draft year if he wants to play catcher, so I get it. Wish he would consider 1B! Take care - Go Pirates.

I got blocked but I’m glad we didn’t lose just to be done with it. Go Pirates. Missing 2 starting pitchers and our best reliever only to win a share of the regular season and tournament championship.

@TheDOB @TheAthletic Saw that as well. I'm sure Norby wanted to pitch in those situations last year. Say what you want about CG, but he's not going to jeopardize a kid's future. It wasn't a Danny Beal situation.

@ecububba @StephenIgoe There's also a chance that CG and Gautreau have styles that don't mix. That's not a knock on either of their abilities as coaches, but sometimes it's just not the right fit. I wish Igoe had an opportunity to sit down with Gautreau. Would be interesting to hear his approach.

@ecububba @StephenIgoe It's been discuss on the podcast, but I really think we are overloading our hitters with information. The catcher in CG wants to control the game from every pitch. This might be possible with Elite hitters but our guys seem to struggle being managed in this way.

@PR927FM Only way ECU hosts is if it wins almost every single remaining regular season game AND wins the AAC tourney. We’re fighting for an at large bid with no margin for error. Not sure why yall would share something like this.
