An example of what BLOCKS could look like as the world scales:
Want to run a restaurant? Someone has to find the seeds, someone grows the crops, you buy the harvest and turn it into food that other players need.
Love cars? Build a car factory. You’ll need materials, cables, electronics and other parts produced or found by other players. Build the cars, sell them, and now someone can explore the world faster.
That’s where I want to take this.
When you join BLOCKS, you find the part of the world you actually enjoy and grind that.
Love farming? Build up your island.
Love cars? Run a factory.
Love exploring? Hunt for rare resources.
Love business? Open a shop or restaurant.
Different paths, but all feeding into the same economy.
And we’re literally starting with seeds.
I hope I’m not the only one excited to see a game like this come alive a whole open world you can jump into and play straight from your browser.
Still very early, and there’s a lot I want to build.
If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions, drop them. I’m reading everything.
Farming is just the beginning.
I have a lot planned for BLOCKS. The goal is to slowly turn this into a real open world, where more and more things you know from real life exist inside the game and actually connect to each other.
Farms, food, shops, jobs, houses, materials, factories, vehicles, businesses and a lot more.
We’re starting with one small economy and building the world around it from there.
The first thing you should do when joining BLOCKS:
Head to Explore City and start opening boxes. You’ll find seeds inside.
From there, you decide what to do with them:
Plant them on your farm → harvest → sell the crops on the market.
Or sell the seeds directly to other players and let them farm.
That’s where the BLOCKS economy starts.
Noticed someone launched a copycat a few minutes ago, so I had to launch $BLOCKS earlier than planned before anyone falls for it.
This is the only official CA:

Anything else is not us.
$BLOCKS is live. The world is open.

Right now you can head into Explore, hunt for boxes, find seeds, and bring them back to sell to other players.
They plant those seeds, grow and harvest them, and earn $BLOCKS.
This is just the first working loop.
Over time we’ll keep adding new resources, jobs, businesses, items and things to build all connected to each other until BLOCKS starts feeling like its own living world and economy.
Been working on BLOCKS for a bit now, and I think the direction is finally starting to click.
We’re starting with a city, an explore map, farming and a market. Nothing crazy at first. But every system we add from here is meant to connect to another one.
You might find seeds while exploring. Someone else buys them and starts a farm. They sell the harvest to someone running a restaurant. That restaurant sells food to players who need it while working or exploring.
Same thing with materials. Someone finds them, someone buys them to build, later someone uses them to manufacture cars, and those cars are sold to people who want to travel faster.
Farms. Shops. Restaurants. Houses. Factories. Cars. Jobs. More places to explore.
None of these should exist just because “games have them.” They should exist because someone else in the world actually needs what they produce.
That’s what I want BLOCKS to become over time.
A world where people aren’t grinding for rewards coming from us. They’re earning because they made, found, grew or built something another player wanted.
