Acabo de llamar a acueductos y me dicen que el área de Cupey (Garden Valley Club) está en zona 1 y que zona 1 se supone que tenga agua mañana, que es lo opuesto que mando acueductos por las comunicaciones oficiales. Están más perdidos. Vamos mal @AcueductosPR

No puedo entender cómo, en Puerto Rico, hemos llegado al punto de normalizar la escasez de agua, los apagones constantes y el deterioro de servicios esenciales, mientras los ciudadanos sostienen con sus contribuciones un aparato gubernamental que debería garantizar precisamente lo contrario. Pagamos una carga contributiva comparable a la de muchas jurisdicciones y países desarrollados en el Mundo, pero recibimos servicios propios de un Estado colapsado. Esa contradicción no puede seguir aceptándose como si fuera parte de nuestra identidad. Es el resultado de décadas de corrupción, clientelismo, mala administración e impunidad, acumuladas gobierno tras gobierno. Puerto Rico merece instituciones que funcionen, infraestructura confiable y un gobierno que responda con la misma seriedad con la que sus ciudadanos cumplen sus obligaciones. ¿Hasta cuándo seguiremos conformándonos con lo inaceptable?

No es exageración cuando alertamos que el calor extremo puede ser mortal. Si a eso le sumamos que los servicios esenciales de agua y luz no son ofrecidos como debe ser la norma, la situación empeora. No caigamos en romantizar/normalizar esta -evidente- crisis.
