@AskPS_UK I did try this avenue through the website and I put serial no in went thru the steps and it didn’t recognise my issue and just sent a msg. I’m at the stage now where I want to send it off

@AskPlayStation E-801809a8 What abt the problems certain users are experiencing where you have sent out an update that has disabled the PlayStation when the Blu-ray drive dont work anymore. Worked b4 the update now it don’t. Time to sort this ASAP u disabled it with an update now fix it with 1!

@mikebrewer To be honest that is how people enjoy things. I heard people talking abt it b4 and how if it was real life u wouldn’t survive as a garage. But my response is it’s made as a tv show it has to meet certain criteria it has to be pleasing to the eye not as a business

@PaulSmithJnr I’m having the same issues with @PlayStationEU Big companies are an absolute joke. I’m sure if I was a YouTuber with enough following or well known with a big following this would be resolved in an instant.

@PlayStationEU @BBCWatchdog I accept that. But it’s broken for years and always worked. So there for it’s a software issue. So why then is it going to cost £125? Is this ok? No. I will wait to see how they will resolve this. If no answer then there will be a video to follow soon #purgeformoremoney

@PlayStationEU @BBCWatchdog My blue ray drive broke a few days out of warranty so it been broken for abt 2 years always worked with downloaded games. PlayStation send out update all of a sudden now the unit don’t work. What did PlayStation support say? “Things do break sir”

@PlayStationEU @BBCWatchdog 2 months with no fix that works. Error code: e-801809a8 PlayStation tell me they want £125 to look at it for an issue that has messed it up with an update? Don’t think so. Let’s get a resolution b4 we take this further I will not be fobbed off
