I wish that we could look at each other the way we look at Christmas Trees. We know the imperfections are there, but all we see is the beauty of what the future holds. #Christmastrees #deepthoughts #beauty #hope #lovelikeJesus

I believe that one of the best ways to promote good behavior is to acknowledge when students do good things 💙 #BePositive #goodbehavior #4thgrade @SCETrailblazer #acknowledgethegood

When teachers realize classroom or behavior management isn’t about being the rule enforcer, but about positively handling conflict, it changes the classroom culture.

5th grade Promotion is always bitter-sweet for me. It’s exciting, but we loop, so I’ve had these kids for 2 years!! I will miss their smiles & how much joy they bring into my classroom every day. I always love slipping in a little Strickland “voice” into their promotion packets.

Well, I guess I’m just gonna miss some things because I am not about to panic and sit in line for an hour for gas. #184milesinthetank #gasproblems

@JoetheJuicer Thankful to find your documentary, “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead”. My 18 year old daughter has Chronic Urticaria. She really suffers, so I’m hoping to help her make some changes.
