But that’s really not what and why it happened (They even demolished several projects because they freaked out). But sure, you can waste shitloads of resources and then hope someone may use it sometime. But instead of doing that it’s probably better to not waste those resources and use them to build stuff people really want and need. However that’s actually the only silver lining of bubbles: Building stuff no ones needs right now but since it’s there it might be used at some point anyways (one reason why US did much better after dotcom and GFC than Europe; they actually build something). But it’s still nevertheless wasteful.
