Don’t make CAPFs a dumping ground of misfits. Such appointments have the potential to complicate matters as he is likely to find very large number of higher age and lower rank officers there.
Too many senior IPS officers in search of any job to do and no vacancies in states, certainly puts pressure on any govt to give them some job. So hunt starts with CAPFs where they find themselves out of their depth. Reform needed in IPS and urgently.
The number of DG,s , ADG,s in police heirarchy in states and in CAPFs. Disparity is stark and real can be analysed by normal thinking individual but Government of India and parliament unable to analyse and see.
