Congress needs to pass a bill to extend open enrollment for ACA plans. It's impossible for the Americans who use it to make an informed decision by December 15th when they have no idea what the actual cost will be. Extend the deadline until you're all done fighting.

Would you support a Truth-in-Lending type disclosure for colleges and universities? A kind of "Truth-in-Degree" disclosure that let's students know BEFORE they get student loans which jobs require that degree, how much the average person makes in those jobs, etc.? This could be a way to prevent colleges and universities from selling worthless degrees and sticking students with tens of thousands in student debt they will never pay back.
The problem with the Dems trying to use the government shutdown to attack Trump is that it only riles up anti-Trump people. Most Americans don't even notice when a shutdown happens, so they aren't going to win over anyone not already on their side.
