The CHAIN annual report for Greater London shows that the total rough sleepers in Bromley has increased by 23% from 2022/2023 to 2023/2024. Have you noticed the numbers of rough sleepers increasing in the local community? #endhomelessnessinbromley #roughsleeping

Our client was originally from Sudan, fled the war and had to travel through several countries on foot and by boat to make his way to the UK. He has now been supported into more permanent accommodation by Bromley Homeless and volunteers for the charity, saying "I want to help."
This week is refugee week. We have seen a huge number in refugees coming to Bromley Homeless in need of support - coming from places such as Ukraine, Sudan, Eritrea, Afghanistan, Iraq and Nigeria.

This huge donation for our food bank came from our volunteer Pam and her friends at Unite. They spent a morning at Sainsburys collecting food donations and giving out information about the services at Bromley Homeless. A huge thank you to Pam and Unite!

This week is volunteers week & we have to take the opportunity to thank all of our wonderful volunteers, like Tina! She's been volunteering with us for over 6 months, helping on our reception desk or in our day room. We feel very lucky to have her as part of our team.
