If water was free, Ethereum would create a WaterDAO with a 0.5% fee on every water ever drank, and redistribute it to a Water Foundation, which would be responsible for securing access to water and building water pipes
This is partially why Ethereum is considered communist, no competition but monopolies with "non-profits" on top of "public goods", to do a comparison, imagine if a Water Foundation was controlling the ocean, no matter how good willing it is, it's still a centralized fragile thing
People wonder why the Ethereum Foundation had around 300 members, But it's hard to keep track of everything they sell without hundreds of accountants, They did a really great job and them getting fired is disgraceful, How are we gonna know how much they sell now?

The solution to blind signing is not clear signing, it's sandboxing with permissions, When an app does something on your computer, you first allow it some basic permissions, read/write files, access network, etc, Then, if the app wants to do something more, like accessing your raw keyboard input, you are prompted to give it that extra permission, one time, or always, Now imagine if each time an app wanted to write a file, your computer prompted you, showed you the file content and its location, And your computer would need to know every file format ever made, in order to show you its "human-readable" content, And you would need to verify that file content every time, no matter how much you trust the app, because what if the app wrote a virus or something? You don't understand because you're not a programmer? Who cares, you are now responsible for not reading that file content, it's your fault Then, when another app would want to access your raw keyboard input, you would allow it without reading, because that's the same prompt as before, and you can't understand anything anyway, That's how crypto works right now
