@shanathalas @TELUS But that's worrying, because they seemed to know when my phone was (about to be) paid off. I admit that I usually didn't listen to them, but some of them at least managed to pitch me a phone upgrade before I hung up.
God damn no matter how many times I tell the @TELUS folks to put me on their do-not-call list, they keep calling. Who is responsible for holding them accountable for spamming people? I'm leaving Telus next chance i get, it's unreal how much they spam their own clients.
@TELUSsupport That's worse, because it means that the spammers have access to your system: They knew the month I had paid off my phone and started trying to upsell me (apparently fake) new plans and new phone offers.
@TELUSsupport I don't remember them all. Also when I view it in my call history I'm getting strange results, it shows as 2 different area codes (both in Canada for what little that's worth). The number is +1 613-526-1947 But the caller ID is 12502148067
@yegordb How does your model identify if the engineer is SUPPOSED to be committing significantly *to the repos you're monitoring*? I occasionally make trivial commits to repos other than the main one I work in. I imagine this would be even more true for architects, etc.

@TwinklyLED get your permissions sorted out. I set up your lights this year & connected to my app. My wife made a new account, & was able to add the lights without requesting permission, at which point in LOST permission and had to request from her. This does not seem secure
@TwinklyLED As already mentioned, ownership WAS taken. And I've already contacted support. And that help article you mentioned explicitly said I shouldn't have seen the behavior I saw. So please read your own support articles before you recommend them 😉
@TwinklyLED I have an open ticket with support. It's pretty bold for you to say that ANY software "has no bugs" 😳 Anyways, can you explain the feature where ownership of a device can be taken from another owner without their notice? I don't see that in the related article you mentioned 🤔
@TwinklyLED To be clear, if I own some lights and they're assigned to my installation, new twinkly users on my Wi-Fi network shouldn't just be able to add those lights to their own installation, they should be made to request access, right? That's what happened.
@TwinklyLED I don't need help, I'm reporting bug, and expressing my disappointment. My wife was supposed to be presented with the "request access" page, but instead she became the owner and the lights were reassigned to her installation.
And of course, although the effects already saved to the controller work, the app no longer thinks the lights are mapped. But we've already decorated the tree with shiny ornaments. So now we need to either not change our effects for the rest of the season or redecorate our tree.
