I have been trying to write a lot. Journalling, and whatever in between. It is quite satisfying tbh. Every stroke from a fountain pen as well. But also I process my thoughts better So yeah writing is the way to go!

A week ago I turned down a job at BT Group. One of the biggest opportunities I’ve had. And I walked away from it. Nothing was wrong with the job, it was the timing, and something I couldn’t let down. And I don’t regret my decision. I’m still looking for a job. A better one even. It has only build a lot of pressure. Good stress. The pressure to build something is heavier than ever now. A presence. A voice that actually stands out. Something that makes money. And I don’t hate it. I thrive in it. Pressure is how diamonds are made. So instead of sitting around waiting for luck to show up, I’m building. Because luck IS REAL. But the more you do, the more luck seems to find you. You don’t wait for the odds to turn in your favour.

People have been telling me Focus on less to get ahead in life. They are freakin right you know. I dont have to care about posting stories on ig everyday!

I turned 26 today. And like every birthday, I get that familiar rush. Motivated. Excited. Ready to start a new chapter towards becoming better. But this is the first birthday I have spent alone in a new city Things are a lot different than before. The decisions I’m making right now feel small. Almost too small to matter. But the impact they’ll make in the long run is huge. And honestly, maybe not even that long. Two things keep playing in my head. “Less is more.” “To pick something up, you have to put something down.” You only get a fixed energy budget. You can’t magically expand it to fit everything on your plate. So I’ve cut things out. A lot of things. What exactly? I’ll be posting about each one in the days to come. For now, 26, and oddly at peace with where things are going. Let’s hope for the best. (Btw this is where I spend my birthday, It was amazing!)

Day 18. Emails are going out daily now. Cold outreach is live. Collaboration conversations are happening. HUSSAIN is on board. Things are moving. But I'd be lying if I said the pace doesn't mess with your head sometimes. It feels slow. And slow has a way of making you doubt yourself. Maybe you know that feeling. But we are making progress. As I said, Emails are warmed up. Niche is locked in. Real estate agents. Hotels and property management companies. Airbnb owners. A space where personal branding actually moves the needle, and people are starting to realise it. Right now, I'm sending emails manually. Yes, I know automation exists. Yes, I know it would save time. But I'm not putting money into tools I haven't tested. And honestly? Manual means personalised. Personalised means real connections. Even if it doesn't convert immediately, I'm building something. The approach matters. The mindset matters. And the mindset right now is simple, not stopping.

Day 17. Big news. HUSSAIN joined the journey today. Hussain is my cousin. But that word doesn't really cover it. He's family in the truest sense. Been around since he was born. We've shared more moments, memories and madness than I can count, and now he's 18. Studying at one of the best IT universities in Asia. Genuinely hard to wrap my head around. The same kid I have a thousand photos with at our grandma's house is now sitting across from me, talking about building something big! How time flies, it feels unreal, in the best way. I don't want to get too nostalgic here, but one day we'll look back at this the same way we look back at those moments at Grandma's house. Except this time, we'll be celebrating wins, soon, at Grandma's house again! InshAllah...

Setup’s looking good, it sounds good and does a lot of work. In a matter of time soon, 10k a month would be my comfort zone!!

Day 16. Had a Zoom coffee chat today with Kate We talked AI automation, building systems, and removing all the small, menial tasks that eat your day alive so you can actually focus on what matters. She builds custom Notion systems for businesses. I've been using Notion since 2018. Back when it was basically just a prettier notes app. I still kind of use it that way. Turns out I've been sleeping on it for 7 years. The level of customisation. The workflows. The automation potential. It's not a notes app. It's a full operating system for your business if you actually learn it. Walked away with a lot of questions. And a very long list of things to fix in how I work. Day 15 AND I CANNOT BELIEVE I AM SAYING THIS Hooks matter. I know. I KNOW. I've known this for years. Been in this industry long enough to teach it. And yet. Every other day, I'm writing an opening line that would put someone to sleep. clickbait man. Make sure you crash your car (as a joke) to get attention. Your email. Your DM. Your post. All of it is competing with a thousand other things. I've been subtly practising it. Hooks in cold emails. Hooks in DMs. Even in comments. And it's working. Slowly. But working. Got a new Instagram follower today. DMs me about the comment I wrote, and had a decent conversation with him. Every single signal matters when you're starting from zero.
