We don’t have a national voter ID requirement States are prohibited from verifying citizenship status to vote in federal elections. Some allow noncitizens to vote in state and local races. We allow all mail ballots and some allow up to two weeks to receive the mail ballots after Election Day even with no postmarks States don’t remove ineligible voters from their rolls who change address to another state and in some cases send them a mail ballot Our elections are third world

@berniemoreno Did you even read the opinion? The majority clearly held the 14th Amendment prohibits it. You can't pass a bill that overrides the Constitution. You need an amendment for that. Do something useful and introduce a Constitutional amendment prohibiting birthright citizenship.

As a Native American I’m a little offended that the 14th Amendment didn’t grant us citizenship until Congress passed an exception for us. Meanwhile, a CCP spy can fly to Guam, drop a baby and fly home with the baby who qualifies to run for president 35 years later.

It doesn’t “uphold” birthright citizenship, it redefines it. It grants American citizenship to anyone from anywhere as long as their parents had enough money to fly here and pop them out in an American hospital. Birthright tourism went from almost nonexistent in 2010 to over 26,000 babies per year in 2020. That number is set to explode with this preposterous ruling. Absolutely disgusting and shameful.
