Maybe, we havent heard from real forensics experts yet. What if the bullet hit his necklace, the cross? Erika held a cross necklace out the window of a vehicle shortly after the shooting, where there were press to video it. There is discussion on youtube with vids that support this theory. I dont know. Just something I saw on the interwebs same as your 'evidence'. The difference is, I want to hear the evidence from the investigators/forensic experts during the trial.
