@Bectennis Was certainly surprising to see the breakthrough fevers. Perhaps, because they did not use closed-loop (feedback) cooling devices in ~60% of pts in the targeted normothermia group. (Unlike the arctic sun). This likely makes temp control less precise. #CCJC3

T2: As indicated by the SD bars in Figure 2, the investigators were not successful in eliminating fever events. Pts in targeted normothermia group had fevers throughout study period whereas pts in targeted hypothermia group began having fever episodes after rewarming. #CCJC3
