@Jamie_Hudson_ Tall, strong, quick, natural finisher - that’s a pretty good profile but none of it matters if he doesn’t lead the line and work like Cowley will want him to. To me, his future is in his own hands, could go one of two ways.

My assesment - There are 2 levers of power making sale of #colu hard: RC won’t sell the training ground to new owners - he wants to develop on the land. Colchester council won’t sell the stadium, they also won’t let RC develop Forresters park into a new training ground.

@DBattson 3 failed takeovers point towards a Cowling related issue - my guess is he’s either moving goalposts later on in the negotiations (likely around training ground ownership/lease) or the forensic accountants are finding bodies that drastically reduce the value of the club.

@jollyboyscar Exactly - but important to note the reason Cowling wants to keep Florence Park is so he can develop that land into houses. Colchester Council have restricted his attempts to move the training ground. The club is stuck in limbo due to the petty politics of Cowling & Council.

@jensenwood23 The club is already racking up debt as Cowling uses it as a debt vessel for his other businesses. Attacking the club by boycotting games does nothing to help that situation. Cowling doesn’t care. A more sophisticated method of pressure on Cowling is required.
